Most contractors will not publish a number. Here is every rate we charge in South Orange County.
Most contractors will not put a number on a website. We will. Everything below is what we actually charge in South Orange County, and every figure here also appears on the service page it belongs to. Prices are for labour and standard materials unless the row says otherwise, and a real quote still depends on the condition of what we are working on.
Painting

Drywall, trim and flooring

What is not in a per-unit price
Counters, tile, appliances, glass, and any plumbing or electrical work are quoted per job, because they turn almost entirely on what you choose rather than on how big the room is. The same goes for a whole-kitchen or whole-bathroom remodel — we price those from the actual scope rather than publishing a range that would be wrong for most people.
The rules that apply to everything
Estimates are free. Our typical minimum job is $300 to $500, which is worth knowing if you only want a single vanity or one small repair — small jobs are usually better grouped with other work.
