What Does It Cost?
A full kitchen depends almost entirely on scope - whether the cabinets are refinished or replaced, whether the counters and floor change, and whether anything moves. What we can put a number on today, because these are the parts we price every week:
- Refinishing the existing cabinets - $225 to $300 per door and $75 to $150 per drawer, so roughly $6,750 to $9,000 for an average 30-door kitchen.
- Painting the existing cabinets - $150 to $200 per door and $50 to $100 per drawer; about $4,500 to $6,000 for the same 30-door kitchen.
- New flooring - LVP labor runs $4 to $6 per square foot, with materials, levelling and transitions quoted alongside it.
- Walls, ceiling and trim - priced the same as any other room; see interior painting and trim.

One kitchen, start to finish
The first two photographs above are the same room, shot from the same spot. In the first one the floor is under rosin paper, the island is masked off and the cabinet boxes are still bare - that stage lasted longer than the finishing did, and it is the part that decides whether the finished job looks sharp. In the second, the cabinets are sprayed white, the counters are in, the plank flooring is down and the room is back in use. Same cabinets, same layout, no walls moved.
